Senior Tax Accountant Apply
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing tax preparation, planning, and compliance services for clients. This role involves reviewing and analyzing financial documents, preparing tax returns, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and preparing complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities
- Conducting tax research and analysis to stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations
- Developing tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
- Communicating with clients to provide tax advice and guidance
- Managing client relationships and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- Supervising and mentoring staff members, providing training and guidance as needed
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as auditors and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive financial services to clients
- Assisting with tax audits and resolving any tax-related issues that may arise
- Keeping accurate and detailed records of all tax-related activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 3+ years of tax experience
- Certifications are preferred. (Enrolled Agent or CPA)
- Prior experience with 1040 returns
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Knowledge and/or working experience with estates, trusts, gift tax, etc.
Compensation:
$80-110k
