Job Title: Senior Tax Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing tax compliance, developing strategies to optimize tax liabilities, and ensuring adherence to all tax regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data for tax filings.
  • Provide recommendations for tax-saving strategies and process improvements.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation to tax authorities.
  • Mentor junior tax staff and provide training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax analysis or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:

  • Salary: commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
