As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience leading engineering or program management functions within the data center, networking, or telecommunications sectors. Experience in the field of network infrastructure security. Experience with the adoption of AI technologies within a delivery environment. Experience in leading organizational transformation and managing change. Experience in transforming historical project data and lessons into program management systems. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or MBA in Business, Operations, or Engineering, or a relevant field. Experience deploying technical infrastructure on a global scale. Experience upscaling an organization through best practices, horizontal process alignment, and identifying process gaps. Capacity to maintain a strategic mindset while executing tasks with a high sense of urgency. Ability to perform technical deep‑dives into the design specifications of complex networks. Responsibilities Implement and carry out the defined Edge Security strategy. Maintain ownership of the documented strategies for AI tooling and proactive program management. Drive the execution of the AI tooling and proactive program management initiatives. Establish and manage a collaboration framework with cross‑functional technical teams for strategic initiatives, including organizing communities and meetings. Deliver on specific strategic programs aimed at improving on‑time delivery (OTD), quality, and efficiency.
