Location: Belfast (Hybrid working)We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer (Senior) to join one of our 3rd line infrastructure engineering teams. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person, with strong inter-personal skills, who can communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a long-standing client who is in embarking on a major technical refresh.Your Transferable Skills and ExperienceEssential SkillsExtensive experience supporting Linux or UnixProven record of leading Major Incident/Problem/Change ManagementProven ability as an SME in a range of systemsExperience of working within medium/large sized project transitionsExperience in managing relationships with key internal and external technical stakeholdersYou must willing and eligible to undergo required clearance for this position.Note: This position is based in Belfast due to the proximity to the DCs. This is a hybrid role, the person appointed will initially be expected to attend the office to support training.We are a Disability Confident Employer and will offer an interview to disabled applicants who meet the minimum/essential criteria for the role.
