Title: Senior Technician
Location: Houston, TX
- Individual must be able to carry out each duty and responsibility meeting clients and Fleet Managers expectations
- adhere to all clients Safety, Policies and Procedures
- adhere to all DOT and OSHA requirements
- DOT inspection authorized
- able to Navigate clients Maintenance Programs
- create repair orders, assist other technicians when needed
- meet or exceed standard repair times
- PM Inspections
- PM follow up repairs
- scheduled repairs
- DVIR repairs
- service call/door traffic repairs
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams
- engine repairs, more complex internal/external faults
- diagnose chassis, body, powertrain component failures
- diagnose more complex electrical faults
- hydraulic system repairs
- R&R tires
- brake, suspension, steering repairs
- driveline component repairs
- powertrain component repairs
- auto/manual transmission repairs
- emissions system component repairs
- welding repairs when necessary
- knowledgeable in diagnostic laptop usage and navigation
- perform HVAC repair/replacement (If MACS 609 certified)
- perform quality control inspections
- assist and provide guidance to technicians when necessary
- Inspect safety sensitive repairs for final approval
- limited supervision required
