Senior Technology Analyst Apply
OVERVIEW This is a senior level network administration / computer support / help desk position responsible for supporting the automation needs of end users at respective location. In addition to day‑to‑day helpdesk responsibilities, this position will assist the IT Director, IT Helpdesk Support Administrator, & the Network / Infrastructure Administrator with planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Case Farms network, compute, & storage environment(s). Individual filling this position is expected to have experience, skill sets, and/or specialized applicable training / experience beyond IT Business Analyst. In addition, this position will deploy and manage infrastructure applications / processes, including but not limited to, video, voice, backups, compute, storage, security, access control, vendor systems, etc. systems for respective location. This position will be $0k-$0k per year depending on applicable education and experience. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS Help Desk / Desktop Support: Help Desk support to ALL Company network / computer users Desktop computing environment(s) configuration, installation, deployment & maintenance Maintain & support varied desktop MS Windows OS computing platforms Maintain & support various end‑user software(s) including but not limited to: MS Office, Email, endpoint protection, Citrix client, etc. Assist users with adding software, peripheral hardware, etc. as necessary Monitor and ensure all users comply with Case Farms IT Security policies Network Support: Assist w/ configuration, deployment, triage, & management of both wired & wireless IP network(s) (i.e. Cisco routers, switches, access points, patch panels, racks, etc.) Troubleshoot, recommend, & correct networking issues as they may arise Network backups and general server administration Limited MS Windows Server support Limited MS Active Directory Administration Infrastructure Support: will provide assistance with design, deployment, configuration, and overall support of infrastructure at respective location, including but not limited to the following: Exacq Video system(s) S2 Access Control Fortinet phone system Limited MS Email administration Limited Nutanix (compute / storage) administration Limited Cohesity backup administration Mobile Devices / Video Systems / Other: Assist w/ configuration, triage, & management of mobile devices connecting to Company networks (i.e. smart phones, tablets, etc.) at respective Plant Assist w/ installation, triage, & support of modem, fax, telephone, etc. wiring at respective Plant Assist w/ configuration, installation, triage, & support of video technologies (Arecont, Samsung, Bosch, etc. cameras & Exacq video software systems currently deployed) at respective Plant Assist w/ configuration, installation, triage, & support of other shop floor systems (i.e. Frick, Marel, Meyn, MARS, CFS Wolf, etc.) currently deployed) and respective Plant REQUIREMENTS Degree in Computer and/or Information Systems or related & 5 years working experience or equivalent combination of both. Experience supporting desktop computing environment(s) & hardware configuration Experience supporting Microsoft Windows server & desktop OS Experience supporting Microsoft Office products Experience with TCP/IP networking and connecting devices to corporate network Adequate organizational, time management, & communication skills Occasional overnight travel required Normal working hours will be 8am-5pm Monday – Friday, but after-hours work can be expected (i.e. to provide 24x7 support, minimize down time during production hours, planned / scheduled projects, system upgrades, etc.) PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE IP Networking (wired & wireless technologies Cisco networking components (i.e. routers, switches, access points, etc. Microsoft Windows Server 2k8 and above Active Directory administration MS Exchange administration Exposure to other applications in use at Case Farms, including but not limited to, MS SQL server, Citrix Server, SharePoint Server administration, etc. Working knowledge of Fortinet EDR / MDR Working knowledge of Fortinet security tools (i.e. desktop client, VPN, endpoint protection, network access control, etc.) Working knowledge of Fortinet phone system Working knowledge of DarkTrace Threat Protection software Exposure to other software applications presently in use including but not limited to, MS SQL server, Citrix Desktop / Server, SharePoint, Cohesity backups, etc. administration Working knowledge of Mimecast Email Security Working knowledge of CyberArk Identity, CyberArk Alero Secure Remote Access, and/or CynerArk Privileged Access Working knowledge of MFA (multi‑factor authentication) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, if applicable.
