Job Description McBride Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. The candidate will provide Systems Engineering assistance that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of system engineering to the acquisition process. The candidate will also provide engineering support in the design, operation, and sustainment of systems and components that cover tasks throughout the acquisition life cycle (requirements analysis through system disposal). This is a full time position at Eglin AFB, FL. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Documenting test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end‑user operational testing Using design of experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs Independently prepare (or advise others) criteria, computations/analyses, specifications, cost estimates, test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problems or data features of broad scope and complexity Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from completion of test engineering tasks Devise innovative approaches to problems encountered, achieving tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for thorough testing of software releases (e.g., fault insertion/fault identification) Deconflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead Operate with general instructions; review portions of work in detail to measure adequacy of approach, execution, and presentation Requirements Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Minimum Required Qualifications Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret level Clearance Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline Years of experience: 8 years of directly related experience with 5 years in a DoD setting Test Manager's Course certification or course completion desired Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps Experience with DoD Test processes Understanding of cloud architectures and impacts to testing methods Additional Information 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Our people and culture McBride is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
