Your Role

As a Tooling and Equipment Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, collaborating across multiple disciplines:

  • Logistics Engineering: Ensuring seamless integration of materials and processes.
  • Environment, Health, and Safety: Designing systems that prioritize sustainability and safety.
  • Production and Quality Teams: Bringing ideas to life with precision and excellence.

Requirements

·   Displays professional behavior, positive attitude, and proactive mindset.

·   Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment - proven experience taking initiative, driving improvements, taking additional responsibilities, thinking outside the box, and going the extra mile.

·   Problem Solving/Decision Making: Taking a well-ordered approach to solving problems and acting despite obstacles, resistance, or ambiguity - possesses strong analytical skills and demonstrated focus on process and Lean Manufacturing concepts

·   Proven ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements to the tooling and equipment – experience writing Requests for Information (RFI), requests for quotation (RFQ), and working with vendors on developing optimal solutions for Mack and Volvo GTO.

·   Proven ability to develop and/or source solutions that are in line with Mack Trucks core values, using Mack Performance System (MPS) and Volvo Operations Concept (VOC) principles as the foundation of all work.

·   Basic project management knowledge is desired

Benefits

·       Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical preferred) or Associate’s degree & equivalent experience required.

·       Minimum 3-5 years of Tooling and Equipment Engineering experience.

·       Experience in Catia, Creo, and AutoCAD – working knowledge of 2D/3D engineering drawings is a must.

·       Knowledge of ENOVIA, Windchill or other PDM Systems.

·       Cost estimates & business case experience required.

·       Ergonomic standards and practical application required.

·       General awareness of OSHA guidelines and standards, ISO, ANSI.

·       GD&T knowledge and practical experience is required.

·       Excellent computer skills; proficient in Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word and other O365 apps.
