Looking for Senior Transmission Planning Engineers interested in joining a utility/municipality - apply below to be considered for hybrid/remote Senior Transmission Planning Engineer roles with local utilities and municipalities/cooperatives across the PJM/MISO region (preference for Detroit/Michigan based candidates, with additional hybrid and remote options out of the following cities: Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, & Kansas City).The Senior Transmission Planning Engineer will be responsible for:Performing transmission planning studies (power flow, load flow, steady state, short circuit, stability, & dynamic simulations)Expertise in PSS/E, TARA, PSLF or similar software (PSCAD, EMTP, PowerWorld, ASPEN, CAPE, etc.)Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and other entities in the MISO/PJM footprintsThe Senior Transmission Planning Engineer should have the following qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related3-5+ years of electric utility/transmission experienceExpertise in PSS/E, TARA, PSLF, PSCAD, EMTP, PowerWorld, etc.Experience working directly with local RTOs/ISOs (PJM and/or MISO)If your experience aligns with these qualifications and you are interested in the above Senior Transmission Planning Engineer opportunities, please apply directly to be considered!
