Join us to help deliver the next groundbreaking Apple products.ResponsibilitiesLead and drive alignment/communications between multi-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, process, reliability, software, and firmware engineeringDefine the program plan/schedule, manage program execution and inter-dependencies, and proactively adapt and communicate as new challenges emergeDeliver executive communication/presentations and drive the decision-making processDrive engineering design by leading failure analysis activities, performance validation requirements and testing, and design release cadence for electrical and mechanical componentsManage engineering development builds, working with process teams, operations partners, and suppliers/vendors to create new sensing subsystemsIdentify and resolve conflicts, both technical and interpersonalPush for excellence and continuous improvement: offer best practices, implement process changes, and seek out efficiencies to make our design methodology betterMinimum QualificationsProduct development, engineering, or program management experience shipping semiconductor, sensing technologies, or hardware systems in any fieldBS in STEM fieldFamiliarity with AICuriosity and proactiveness5+ years of relevant work experienceAbility and willingness to travel internationallyPreferred QualificationsMasters in STEMExperience in consumer electronicsAbility to navigate ambiguityPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
