Job Description
East Coast Technology is looking for professional individuals who would like long term, full time and stable employment. Potential Candidates need to love working with computers and helping people understand technology. Our company offers flexibility and fun working conditions.

The most important characteristic of our support team is to help our customers work on what they do best while we handle all their technology needs in a trusting vendor/partner relationship. We put *customers first* and must be able to show and prove that we are knowledgeable, understand what their problems are, talk to them like we would want someone to talk to us, and provide a real solution without applying bandaids.

Our team members must be good at:

•\tNetworking Knowledge with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.
•\tIntermediate or Higher Server Operating System experience.
•\tExperience supporting PC Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows 7,
8, Server 2008, 2012).
•\tExperience supporting Microsoft Office.
•\tAbility to configure new desktops from the load of the OS to
final user approval.

Expectations of our new team members would be:

•\tExpect frequent interruptions, customers who want things done
immediately, and sometimes stressful situations.
•\tHave the ability to prioritize in a very fast paste environment
while keeping cool and collected.
•\tHave a lot of patience to work with some non-technical customers
(over the phone or on-site) to troubleshoot and resolve computer
related problems.
•\tHave tremendous attention to detail
•\tBe able to work in a team atmosphere and stay well connected with
other the team members.
•\tFlexibility to work after normal business hours if needed
•\tHave a very strong work ethic - on time, want to learn, and give
it your all!

It's extra awesome if:

•\tYou are Microsoft or Cisco Certified, but we also realize that
certifications are often just paper!
•\tHave read the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People”
(despite it’s strange name)

Our team members must have:

•\tReliable transportation that you could use to get around to
various clients in RI and MA (we pay for an auto allowance)
•\tHave a valid and clean US Driver’s License
•\tBe a US Citizen
