Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly upon arrival and professionally address their automotive needs.
Listen actively to customer concerns and accurately translate them into repair orders for technicians.
Provide clear, detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, including estimated costs and timeframes.
Build trust and rapport with customers by offering honest advice and exceptional service.
Schedule appointments and manage the flow of vehicles through the service department.
Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction and address any lingering questions.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and general computer applications.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
