Service AdvisorWe are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team! This role involves assisting customers with repair and maintenance service requests, ensuring accurate documentation of customer concerns on repair orders, and advising on necessary scheduled maintenance. The Service Advisor reviews repair actions with customers upon vehicle delivery, supports the Service Manager, maintains accurate repair records, promotes company activities, and follows safety and environmental practices. Additional duties as assigned.Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Pay - Commission BasedHealth, Medical and Dental401K PlanPaid time off and vacationGrowth opportunitiesEmployee vehicle purchase plansFamily owned and operatedLong term job securityService Advisor Responsibilities:Greet customers promptly.Obtain customer and vehicle information.Maintains a clean, professional environment.Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.Establish follow up time.Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.Explain all completed work and charges to customers.Service Advisor Requirements:2+ years of Service Technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification requiredFord CertificationPrevious experience at a Ford dealership is preferredB level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine RepairDexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specificationBy working at a Ford dealership, you can be a part of a brand that honors the past, and is invested in the future.
