Service Writer – Join a Fast-Moving, High-Performing Auto Repair Team
Location: Saginaw, MIWe’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our growing team in Saginaw. This is a key role in the shop — part customer service pro, part parts coordinator, and fully committed to keeping the front of house running smooth and efficient.You’ll work alongside a team that’s focused on doing things right. We’re building a culture of trust, performance, and accountability. If you’ve got strong communication skills, auto repair shop experience, and a drive to win — we want to talk to you.What You’ll Be Responsible ForParts Coordination
Order and receive parts quickly and accurately
Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery and pricing accuracy
Stay on top of returns, cores, and warranty parts
Our inventory is simple and manageable, but speed and accuracy still matterService Writing
Greet customers with professionalism and energy
Write repair orders clearly and correctly
Sell recommended services by educating and building trust, not pressure
Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
Call and confirm upcoming appointments
Make follow-up calls on declined or future work
Ensure the loaner car process is followed correctlyWorkflow and Team Communication
Support the manager and technicians by keeping workflow smooth
Help coordinate dispatching and repair order updates
Be the go-to for status updates, customer communication, and supportWhat You Bring to the TableAt least 1 year of experience in a service advisor or parts-related role
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Clear communicator with solid phone and people skills
Comfortable with shop software and basic computer use
Valid driver’s license
Team-first mentality and a willingness to jump in wherever neededCompensation and BenefitsPay range from $50,000 to $100,000 based on experience and performance
Additional earning potential based on the sales volume you produce
Full time schedule Monday through Friday 8-5 M-F
