1 Resource Group hiring a dedicated Service Center Manager to join our client in Le Vergne, TN and lead operations at our their service center in the equipment industry. This key role requires an individual who can ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while managing the day-to-day operations of the service center. If you're passionate about leading a team and delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will oversee the management of service personnel, maintain inventory control, and drive performance improvements to meet the company’s profit objectives. You will utilize your skills to train staff, engage with customers, and optimize operational efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Thorough knowledge of client products.

Previous experience in management of an equipment company.

Mechanical skills must be top-notch.

Previous experience supervising employees.

Computer knowledge.

Work experience with material handling equipment may be substituted for educational requirements. However, a degree would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop service personnel to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor performance and provide guidance and feedback for improvement.
  • Plan and organize workflow schedules for service personnel.
  • Supervise repair work and ensure service quality standards are met.
  • Maintain records of parts inventory, requisitions, and sales.
  • Consult with customers on services and repairs to address their needs.
  • Prepare reports on facility performance, parts usage, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to enhance customer relationships and increase sales.
  • Foster a sense of teamwork and accountability among staff.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in service management within the machinery or equipment sector.
