We are seeking a Service Desk / IT Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve supporting and maintaining end-user devices and network infrastructure at a client site. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers/scanners, network hardware (routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls), incident management through ITSM platforms, and strong customer-service skills.

Job Title: Service Desk / IT Support Specialist
Location: Queens Village, NY (On-site)
Duration: 6 months (contract)
Rate/Salary: [Enter Pay Rate/Salary Range]

Job Description:

  • Provide end-user devices support - desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.

  • Handle incidents via an ITSM platform and drive issues to resolution.

  • Perform support tasks on a 24 7 shift basis (rotational shifts).

  • Walk around the airport terminal site to inspect devices and report issues - mobility required.

  • Carry, install, and configure hardware (laptops, desktops, cables) as needed.

  • Create and maintain documentation manuals related to device setup, troubleshooting, and support procedures.
