Essential Functions:



  • Must be accountable for team results.

  • Lead, guide, monitor, and manage the performance of employees.
    Provide coaching, counseling, and appropriate discipline and training.

  • Responsible for the hiring administrative process, job requisition, and resource allocation approval.
    Works with management to obtain the necessary approvals and then collaborates with HR on the posting process.
    Conducts interviews and selects candidates in collaboration with management.

  • Assist in removing roadblocks to individual and team success.

  • Review and monitor team results, making recommendations for improvement as required.

  • Foster teamwork and communication.

  • Assist in resolutions of issues and escalate as appropriate.

  • Define and communicate expectations for individual and team activities.

  • Conduct regular individual meetings with direct reports to discuss successes, improvement, and development.

  • Evaluate the team for strengths and weaknesses.

  • Develop and implement cross-training plans.

  • Create and maintain a team staffing plan.

  • Review required team reporting for accuracy and consistency.

  • Enforce the proper use of approved policies, standards, and procedures of the company and department.

  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with internal and external teams as appropriate.

  • Facilitate communication expectations from upper management.

  • Promote a positive atmosphere and culture within the organization.

  • Review and update goals for continued success.

  • Maintain familiarity with current industry best practices for the area of responsibility.

  • Monitor, manage, and track defined metrics, reporting, and other information as required for the area of responsibility.

  • Meet administrative requirements for team members.


Qualifications:



  • College diploma or university degree and 5 years equivalent work experience showing proven results.

  • Proven team-building skills.

  • Advanced oral, presentation, and written communication skills are a must.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a team environment.

  • Microsoft Office skills required.

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in the environment and priorities.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments.

  • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

  • Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs.
    , or more if required by the essential functions of the job.
