We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician Dispatcher to join our service department. This is a union position , paid hourly, with weekly payroll every Friday. Position Summary The Service Technician Dispatcher is responsible for efficiently dispatching repair orders to technicians, ensuring proper workflow through the shop, and billing warranty repair orders accurately using CDK. This role plays a critical part in maintaining productivity, technician efficiency, and high-quality service standards. Key Responsibilities Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level, certification, and workload Monitor shop flow to maximize efficiency and productivity Maintain accurate and organized repair order documentation Bill and process warranty repair orders in accordance with Ford and dealership guidelines Ensure proper labor operations, story documentation, and coding for warranty compliance Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding job status Assist in maintaining compliance with Ford policies and union guidelines Support the service team in meeting department performance goals Qualifications Previous experience as a Service Dispatcher in an automotive dealership required Ford dealership experience strongly preferred Proficiency with CDK required Experience billing Ford warranty repair orders required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Understanding of flat-rate systems and technician workflow Compensation & Benefits Union position Hourly pay Paid weekly (every Friday) Health, dental, and vision benefits (per union agreement) Paid time off (per union agreement) Retirement benefits (per union agreement) #J-18808-Ljbffr
