PestCo – Service Manager Join to apply for the Service Manager role at PestCo Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr Company Overview Founded in 2006, Pointe Pest Control has grown from a single office in Spokane, Washington, to multiple locations throughout Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. The company serves both residential and commercial customers across a range of pest services, including general pest control, bed bug treatment, termite service, carpenter ant control, and rodent extermination. Pointe is committed to professionalism, service, integrity, and excellence, empowering teams to exceed customer expectations. Position Summary This role provides oversight in a designated geographic region for the service department, managing multiple service locations. Key responsibilities include finding solutions to operational challenges, supporting Service Managers, Supervisors, and Lead Technicians, and ensuring high performance across multiple categories. Responsibilities Professionalism and Relationships – Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, cultivate positive coworker and customer relationships, foster a “Can Do” attitude, and build an “All Star” technician team. Safety – Ensure consistent safe practices, use appropriate PPE, maintain a safe driving record, and identify hazardous conditions such as road conditions, roof work, ladder use, and power equipment operation. Route Management – Oversee customer accounts according to company procedures and checklists, optimize service time, encourage recurring services, and increase route retention. Growth – Secure customer referrals, pursue online 5‑star reviews, coordinate with inside/outside sales reps, generate self‑derived leads, and deliver a superior first impression of service. Training and Recruiting – Provide ongoing training on pest biology, control measures for general, structural, and specialty pests, support technician development, and interview new recruits. KPI’s – Maintain acceptable metrics in monthly performance and production trackers. Service Department Leadership – Lead by example, promote TRUST (Trust, Respect, Understanding), and collaborate across departments. Required Qualifications Licenses in appropriate pest control categories and states. Computer skills. Clean driving record. College‑level or equivalent education (preferred). Preferred training in general, commercial, termite, bed‑bug, and home‑improvement categories. Pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination (must lift 50 lbs). 3‑5 years of customer‑service and supervisory experience (preferred). Excellent written and verbal communication; public speaking preferred. Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate. Benefits Company vehicle granted upon route assignment.
