JD:
- Perform Static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis for Aircraft structures (metallic & composite structures) using classical hand calculation.
- Understanding of load paths, extraction of loads from Finite Element Models
- Determination of critical failure modes and performing analysis to ensure structural integrity
- Produce dispositions for repairs of structural damage and non-conformances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Coordinate with cross functional groups including Design, Materials & Process Engineering,
- Generate Engineering Stress report for disposition justification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in providing technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage
- Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
- Experience in performing Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
- Working knowledge of Boeing standards
- Working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 25
- Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP
- Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
- Strong oral and written communication skills
