Martin Management Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Co-Mar Aviation location. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the professional representation of the Fixed Based Operation through various types of communications. As one of the first points of contact with pilots, passengers or visitors, s/he must present a positive company image.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls
  • Process credit card payments for fuel and other various fees
  • Accurately complete and forward all necessary paperwork and reports to corporate office in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service and present a positive company image
  • Communicate with incoming aircraft as necessary
  • Order supplies and fuel for the tanks
  • Provide courtesy and professional services (i.e. coffee and ice service, shuttle service, rental car arrangements, hotel reservations, pilot supplies/charts, catering)
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility
  • Complete training as assigned by management
  • Follow policies and procedures as set forth in Employee Handbook
  • Calling and collection of past due payments
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Customer service, office and clerical experience preferred
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to use Quickbooks
  • Ability to use personal computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Current drivers license

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and handle tools. Occasionally requires the ability to lift 20 pounds of material. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Is potentially exposed to aviation fuel, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in an FBO. Occasionally, exposed to aircraft exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
