About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Clarkston, MI to hire an Account Service Specialist. This is an excellent long-term, on-site opportunity for a candidate who values relationship management, operational accuracy, and customer advocacy. The role focuses on supporting client accounts, monitoring inventory programs, coordinating logistics, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a customer advocate, ensuring total client satisfaction by proactively managing communication, needs, and expectations.
  • Support assigned client accounts with daily service activities and operational follow-through.
  • Manage custom stock, blanket PO's, and consignment inventory programs to minimize risks of stock-outs and aged inventory.
  • Oversee and improve freight consolidation efforts for customer sales orders; collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for freight-cost reductions.
  • Issue proper documentation for Returns, Credit Memos, and Debit Memos in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve service issues, support order flow, and uphold customer satisfaction standards.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in account management, customer service, supply chain coordination, or related operational support preferred
  • Strong communication and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple client needs in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Proficiency with business systems and documentation workflows
