ServiceNow Developer Long-term contract, Hybrid

For our direct client, a prestigious global firm with offices in Northern NJ, we seek an experienced ServiceNow Developer to work on enhancements to the company's ServiceNow applications. This is a 6-month initial project with likely extension. It is a hybrid role (3 days/week onsite in Montvale, NJ).

Responsibilities:

Formulate and define scope of ServiceNow Scoped Applications and objectives with an understanding of the software and application's programming and tools .i.e, App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.

Provide recommendations for developing or modifying scoped applications, code, programs or databases, using research and fact-finding, ensuring that the delivered product meets the user's expectations while documenting software specifications and training other Developers.

1. Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

3. Perform system administration tasks, including user management, access control, and system configuration.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations.

5. Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

6. Be familiar with Citizen/Delegated development on the ServiceNow Platform

Skills: Proficiency in App Engine Studio and Flow Designer

Familiar with Agile approach to SDLC and Azure DevOps

Knowledge of business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripting is a plus (Java)

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer

ServiceNow System Administrator certification is required
