Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Tyson, VA (On-site)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in AWS cloud services, containerized application development, and CI/CD pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, a solid understanding of modern software development practices, and demonstrated success working in client-facing roles. Candidates with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes certifications are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain ServiceNow modules and features.
• Collaborate with clients to define business requirements and develop solutions using ServiceNow.
• Develop and consume web services, especially RESTful services, to integrate systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain AWS-based applications, leveraging various cloud services.
• Work with containerized applications and manage container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize system performance through monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated deployment and continuous integration using tools like Jenkins.
• Work collaboratively with DevOps teams and apply Agile and GitOps methodologies.
• Ensure system security, scalability, and availability.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of hands-on development experience in ServiceNow.
• Proficient in AWS services with experience in cloud-native application development.
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting languages like NodeJS and JavaScript.
• Strong front-end development skills using Angular (latest versions preferred).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and automated pipeline management.
• Familiarity with Postgres and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments.
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to develop and consult effectively in collaborative settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, etc.).
• Docker or Kubernetes Certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA).
• Experience with Python (Nice to have).
• Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and system optimization.
