Based in our Power & Water Solutions business headquarters in Cranberry, PA, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the strategies to properly manage Subcontract Services buyouts, and driving best cost solutions for our business group.In this critical role, you will work closely with the World Area procurement and Operations teams, identifying opportunities and implementing strategies around service provider selection, sourcing, and negotiation.You will have the flexibility to work one day a week remotely. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Develop and implement strategies to achieve Supply Chain goals regarding cost, risk management, and quality of services. Implement and monitor tools and best practices to drive best cost solutions. Collaborate with other Category Managers to identify sourcing best practices.Analyze data and market insights to understand market trends in key services. Support the development of savings calculation methodologies specific to services. Conduct spend data analysis regularly to monitor changes in spending patterns for services. Report and analyze savings achieved periodically.Benchmark rates for key roles using reputable national or global data sources to support the rate negotiations with suppliers. Monitor the level of success of the pre-established strategies and adjust the course of action as required, promoting continuous improvement. Systematically monitor shortages in specific roles or disciplines to manage the associated risks.Negotiate supply agreements with service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions and to meet Emerson's and the customer's requirements. Coordinate the new supplier's prequalification process and approval.Support the segmentation, identification, and definition of both critical services and "preferred" service suppliers. Acts as the Category expert, ensuring proper communication and implementation of agreements, changes, and updates. Coordinate and lead Supplier Business Reviews (SBR) periodically. Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.Forecasts services demand through early collaboration with proposals and project teams. Partner with project teams to develop and foster long-term relationships with the preferred service suppliersWho You Are:Highly strategic with a strong customer service mentality, ensuring continued focus on internal collaborators and external partners to drive the results we require.
