Job Description: Job Summary:
Service Technician is a broad title that covers skilled workers in several industries. Regardless of what their area of expertise is, Service Technicians share the same function: to provide lab services, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
Primary Responsibilities:
All Service Technicians perform some type of routine maintenance
Performs water analysis and/or collects samples for preparation, labeling and shipment to designated laboratory for analysis
Maintains inventory of reagents, sample containers, and shipment containers necessary for routine as well as special sampling and analysis.
Routine analytical lab testing and maintenance is one of the most common tasks assigned to them.
