Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Services Solution Advisor Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP Training and Enablement software solutions to prospective customer audiences.


Expectations and Tasks:

Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation. Conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer in order to build relationships with the customer and understand needs. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories. Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals. Present to customers remotely using virtual technologies. Project team training options in support of creating individual customer Project Team Training Plans for all SAP solutions. Leverage support teams who are there to support presales success. Support sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Contribute to industry conferences and events by submitting abstracts, and presenting SAP Training and Enablement solutions. Develop close relationships with SAP sales teams (Industry Account Executives, Services Account Executives) in order to promote effective sales methodologies. Participate in demo system design and planning and assist in configuration if needed. Participate in new product release input and testing and training of peers.


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Technology Analytics or a related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The company will also accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Technology Analytics or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.


Work Experience:

Experience must involve 3 years in the following:

  • Sales data (Harmony), Customer data, Utilization, and Project financials;
  • Sales Forecasting, Reporting, Pipeline Analysis, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs);
  • Knowledge of Go-To-Market and Business Development strategies;
  • Demand Management Activity;
  • Communicate with leadership and C-Suite Executives; and
  • Onboard Sales teams to new processes and tools.


Telecommuting permitted. Position can be based in any US location.

Compensation Range Transparency:
The annual base salary for this position is $153,150. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a signicant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $153,150 - $188,400. The actual amount to be oered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
