Objectives of the Role:
- Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and aligning them with current economic conditions.
- Maximize payroll efficiency by innovating and refining processes.
- Support the development of short- and long-term operational strategies to enhance organizational growth.
- Achieve budgeting goals through effective scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines to protect company assets and optimize operations.
- Provide senior managers with comprehensive financial updates by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting relevant data points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CFO to establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
- Lead and support the accounting team with dynamic and effective leadership to foster trust, collaboration, and productivity.
- Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all departments, ensuring compliance with national and local legal standards.
- Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and budgets, ensuring alignment with actual expenditures.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets, enhance workflows, and ensure policy adherence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar role within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in cost control and financial data analysis in a manufacturing setting.
- 10+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of banking processes and compliance with national and local tax regulations.
- Demonstrated experience managing payroll processes and implementing streamlined accounting workflows.
- Exemplary history of financial project management and strategic decision-making.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional certification, such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
