Position Summary

As a Shed Builder, you'll work in our Morrison, TN manufacturing shop, building sheds from the floor up. Duties include carpentry tasks such as framing, roofing, siding, trim work, painting, and installing doors and windows. You'll use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and may also operate forklifts, ladders, and scaffolding. This is a production-driven environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork are key.

  • Ability to read and follow floor plans, measurements, and detailed construction notes
  • Good-natured team player with a respectful, cooperative attitude
  • Adaptable and open to instruction and learning
  • Must provide and maintain personal hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, and handle construction materials
  • Frame and build walls
  • Nail, caulk, and router siding
  • Install metal roofing or shingles
  • Attach trim, hang doors, install windows, and build lofts or custom additions
  • Safely operate saws, drills, nail guns, and other construction tools
  • Operate a forklift according to safety protocols

Work Environment

  • Daily work primarily in a covered open-air shop
  • Occasional work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Exposure to sawdust, paint, and noise typical of a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs and climb ladders up to 6 ft

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of construction or carpentry experience preferred

Compensation

This is a production-based position with uncapped earning potential. Your performance determines your pay-meaning the harder and smarter you work, the more you can earn. Reliable, steady work ensures consistent opportunities to grow your income. Experienced builders can make $60-90K annually.
