Position Summary:
Lead day-to-day sheet metal fabrication operations (press brake, laser, waterjet) to hit quality, safety, and delivery targets. This is a hands-on leadership role for an expert in sheet metal machining with 3+ years of supervisory responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and coach sheet-metal personnel; drive safety, quality, and throughput.

• Oversee press brake, laser, and waterjet operations; approve setups and first-article parts.

• Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC fabrication equipment as needed; ensure parts meet print/spec.

• Manage workflow, priorities, and WIP to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.

• Partner with Engineering/Weld/Assembly to resolve issues and keep flow smooth.

• Monitor tool wear, maintenance, and raw-material availability; uphold 5S and standard work.

• Lead continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and safety; maintain documentation and KPIs.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in sheet-metal fabrication (press brake/laser/waterjet); 3+ years leading/supervising a team.

• Strong CNC programming/setup knowledge; able to read drawings/prints and apply GD&T basics.

• Clear communicator with strong problem-solving and organizational skills; CI mindset.
