JOB TITLE: Sheetmetal Fabricator

LOCATION: Pinellas Park, FL

PAY RATE: Up to $30.34 per hour

Summary:

• Mechanical experience, including working with hand tools and reading blueprints (B/P)

• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, protractors, tape measures, height gauges, and scale rulers

• Experience with sheet metal forming skills, including bending and stretching, using shrinking tools, dies, punching, and air grinders

• Ability to follow safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with team members

• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sheet metal or related fields (e.g., auto body or boat repairs)

• Physically able to stand for extended periods

Specialized Skills:

• Heat Treat:

  • Able to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)

  • Capable of lifting over 20 pounds and standing for prolonged periods

  • Operates heat-treating equipment (furnaces, age-hardening ovens) to temper and anneal metals

  • Documents times and temperatures to ensure specifications are met

• Cell 15:

  • Experience with band saws, chop saws, table saws, drill presses, hand drills, hand routers, and roll form machines

  • Capable of lifting over 20 pounds and standing for long periods
