Salary: $17 to $20 hr.
We are hiring a Shipping Assistant/Material Handler/Boom Operator to join the team of a national manufacturer of liquid storage tanks of 50 to 50K gallons in size. In this role, one will prepare finished products for shipping using pallets and strapping materials, load products onto trucks and railcars using forklifts, overhead cranes, and boom cranes, measure and weigh products for shipping, and complete all required record keeping.
Qualified candidates will have shipping, forklift, and/or crane experience in a manufacturing environment, math, verbal, and written communication proficiency, and full physical mobility and ability to meet the needs of the job. The jobs provide a work schedule of 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with compensation starting at $17 to $20 hr., plus benefits.
