Shipping ClerkWe are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk who will organize and assign drivers for loading and unloading daily shipments. Your role will involve preparing and printing packets for daily live shipments and customer pickups, including necessary confirmation and inspection sheets.ResponsibilitiesOrganize and assign drivers for loading and unloading of daily shipments.Print and prepare packets for daily live shipments and customer pickups.Create and print bills of lading for each shipment.Prepare packets for all pre-loads for the week/weekend.Communicate with Uber Freight throughout the day to ensure timely carrier arrivals.Create non-EDI packing slips for roll stock deliveries.Track On-Time In-Full (OTIF) percentage.File paperwork such as daily receipts and shipments according to retention policy.Coordinate shipping requests with Uber Freight and ensure communication.Cover additional tasks as needed, such as printing production labels and scanning inventory sheets.Communicate with Customer Service Representatives for any changes or shipping adjustments.Collaborate with forklift operators and spotters for loading/unloading requirements.Assist drivers arriving at the shipping window.Work closely with the Warehouse Manager, Production Scheduler, and Inventory Clerk.Essential SkillsExperience in Shipping and Receiving.Proficiency in internal shipping software.Familiarity with Bills of Lading (BOLs).Ability to work and communicate effectively with vendors.Experience in loading, unloading, and material handling.Knowledge of inventory control and use of RF scanners.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in packaging, packing, and troubleshooting.Competency in data entry and inventory management.Skill in using warehouse inventory systems and performing cycle counts.Proficiency in computer skills and the use of pallet jacks.Why Work Here?Join a highly profitable company with ample opportunities for career advancement.
