Position: Shipping Clerk

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team at Parallel Employment. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a vital role in managing the shipping and receiving operations of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Print and organized orders for order pickers
- Actively monitor incoming emails for HOT request from client service and other parties, take action on these requests and work with Supervisor and fulfilment team to accomplish in a timely manner
- Work with checkers, packers, and drivers to solve issues related to short quantities.
- Maintain direct contact with supervisor/Managers for all work order requirements
- Run late order reports and provide information to supervisor/manager and client service.
- Respond to written correspondence by email
- Communicate with all warehouse teams and Supervisor to resolve issues related to shipments
- Prepare documents such as bills of lading and shipping orders to route shipments
- Timely packing, shipments, and invoice processing for customer orders, including related shop floor or shipping documentation.
- Checks shipments for proper documentation and labeling
- Communicate any shipping discrepancies to customer service, and supervisor
- Other duties assigned by Supervisor and or Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
