Job Description

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for verifying, packaging, labeling, and tracking shipments with precision — supporting both our production teams and customers by maintaining accuracy and timeliness in every transaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods; verify quantities and part numbers against packing lists and purchase orders.

  • Inspect incoming materials for visible damage or discrepancies; escalate issues to Materials or Quality teams as needed.

  • Accurately log receipts into the ERP/MRP system and deliver materials to appropriate departments.

  • Prepare and package finished PCB assemblies and components for shipment per customer or internal requirements (ESD-safe handling, labeling, and documentation).

  • Generate shipping labels and documentation using FedEx, UPS, and customer-specified portals.

  • Schedule carrier pickups and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area, ensuring materials are properly identified and stored.

  • Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and material movement transactions as needed.

  • Coordinate with production control, purchasing, and quality to resolve shipping/receiving issues quickly and accurately.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.

  • 1+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations (preferably in an electronics or manufacturing environment).

  • Familiarity with ESD handling, barcoding, and labeling standards for electronic assemblies.

  • Experience using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, or similar platforms.

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email) and ERP systems (experience with manufacturing software a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
