This role functions as operational support within the department and assumes delegated responsibilities related to order processing, label creation, shipment tracking, and project follow-ups. This position supports both digital (hard drives, USB, technical equipment) and film-based operations (35mm, 5/70mm, and 15/70mm formats).Core ResponsibilitiesReview shipping notices, invoices, bills of lading, and internal work ordersReceive and process incoming shipmentsPrepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and condition verification.Generate and print shipping labels (UPS WorldShip, FedEx ShipManager)Estimate shipment weights and dimensions for cost planningPull, pack, and stage shipments for courier pickupCoordinate daily deliveries and maintain communication with carriersMaintain shipping supply inventoryKeep detailed shipping and receiving recordsPrepare regular reports for supervisor reviewMaintain vehicle mileage logsSchedule large freight shipments and coordinate warehouse stagingOperate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck safelySecure and organize warehouse inventoryAssist with duplication of hard drives and USB mediaPerform local vendor runs as requiredMaintain clean and organized shipping and warehouse areasOperational Support Responsibilities (Right-Hand Function)Assist in running daily fulfillment ordersManage label creation and shipment documentationFollow up on active logistics projectsTrack shipment status and delivery confirmationsSupport shipping calendar planningServe as backup support for Fulfillment Manager when necessaryFilm ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparation and shipment of motion picture film materialsHandle and inspect 35mm, 5/70mm, and 15/70mm (1570) film formatsSupport film build-up and breakdown proceduresUnderstand reel configuration and labeling standardsPrepare film for transport, storage, and exhibitionMaintain proper storage conditions for film materialsCoordinate with projection teams as neededRequired to drive to vendors for Film delivery and pick-up supportWhat You'll NeedMinimum 2 years shipping/warehouse experienceHigh School Diploma requiredForklift certification preferredValid driver's license requiredExperience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx ShipManagerProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsProfessional communication skillsDetail oriented and dependablePreferred Film KnowledgeExperience with 35mm, 5/70mm, and 15/70 formatsFamiliarity with film build-up procedures for each formatUnderstanding of platter systems and reel managementKnowledge of threading procedures for each projector typeAwareness of film handling best practices to prevent damageExperience in projection booth or film lab environment preferredCore CompetenciesDetail-oriented and organizedMechanically inclinedStrong communication skillsCustomer service mindsetAbility to manage multiple prioritiesCalm under pressureTeam-oriented with leadership support capabilityHigh accountability and ownershipPosition Status: New RoleThis job posting reflects a current vacancy within the organization.
