Brief Description Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment? UTEX is looking for a reliable and motivated Shipping Clerk to join our team! What You’ll Do As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are assembled and shipped with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include: Move materials using lift trucks, hand trucks, and other equipment Package, wrap, and prepare products for shipment Receive and check incoming shipments for accuracy or damage Help ship finished products and receive materials used in production Schedule pickups with shipping carriers as instructed Use computers to enter and track shipping and inventory information Keep shipping supplies stocked and organized Report damaged materials or safety concerns to a supervisor Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized Follow all company safety rules and procedures What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; and stoop Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols Preferred: Forklift experience Work Environment You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required. Expected Hours Of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.
