We are looking for a highly organized Shipping Clerk to join our team in Whitsett, Nc. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing shipping operations, ensuring the accuracy of orders, and coordinating timely deliveries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and efficiency are essential.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including invoices, packing slips, and labels.

• Verify the accuracy of orders by checking product counts, packaging requirements, and overall condition before shipment.

• Schedule and coordinate freight pickups with carriers, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

• Communicate shipment timelines and updates with internal teams and external partners.

• Track and monitor shipments, updating records and systems to reflect current statuses.

• Conduct quality inspections of goods prior to shipping and report any damages or discrepancies.

• Maintain organized records of shipping activities and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, when certified.

• Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock counts and reconciliation.

• Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with shipping software or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience in furniture or home furnishings manufacturing is a plus.
• Effective communication skills for working across teams and with external partners.
• Knowledge of freight carriers and inventory control processes is advantageous.
