Shipping/Receiving Clerk Apply
Description Responsible for shipping and receiving products and components. Job Summary Responsible for shipping and receiving products and components. Duties / Responsibilities Identify and process inbound and outbound shipments; handle required paperwork; and maintain data in the appropriate systems. Interface with sales, purchasing, customer service, order management, and transportation providers as instructed to ensure a smooth and timely flow of materials. Perform incoming inspections. Note any exceptions and notify the supervisor. Utilize an automated system to enter and complete import/export paperwork. Follow processes and procedures to ensure accuracy of tasks assigned. Work at multiple sites within the campus as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills / Abilities Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment. Proficiency in reading and writing in English is essential for understanding technical documents, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Minimum Education a Nd Experience Required High school degree or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, import/export, UPS, DHL, FedEx shipping systems. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus. Experience with incoming inspection and their documentation requirements Physical Requirements Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time.
