You will receive thorough training in our shipping process, which requires exceptional accuracy and detail. Complete daily picking, packing, and shipping goalsin a timely manner Accurately record all product information and movement through the proper use of scanning equipment and tracking systems Operate all equipment safely and productively while following company guidelines and safety practices Maintain a clean and organized work environment Cross-training in other areas of the distribution center, including receiving incoming packages, marketplace orders, and motor freight orders Skill Set To be successful in this role, you shouldpossessthe following knowledge and skills: Shipping and assembly experiences are a plus Organized and detail-oriented Ability to follow procedures methodically Manual dexterity for working with small components Position involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh25 – 40lb and handling packages up to 150lb Standing and stooping forlong periodsof time may berequired This position requires manual dexterity for working with small components, ability to complete repetitive motions for long periods of time, bending, continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 50 lbs. and managing packages up to 150 lbs as well as standing/stooping for long periods of time. We need a Shipping team member with a positive attitude that wants to become an expert. You’ll offer exceptional customer service by taking the time to follow the process and do things the right way. This person should continually add value to the organization beyond their day-to-day tasks. Availability & Compensation This is a full-time hourly position starting at $20/hour. The typical schedule is 8:30 am - 5:00pm., Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities on Saturdays may be available. Starting and ending times may vary depending on customer needs.
