Starting base salary: $85-110K
Summary
This supervisory role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our high-end cabinetry production as well as the general operation of the shop as an integral part of the overall company. You will plan the schedule, order the material, and oversee the production of cabinetry in a timely and on-budget manner, collaborate with the Project Managers and Lead Carpenters for installation of cabinetry, and manage the shop team while creating a safe, fun, and highly productive team environment. This role is a key part of the entire company.
Responsibilities
-Organize the shop work so that the team has productive work that is well defined.
-Managing 8-12 workers and being a working manager / hands-on, side-by-side with them all.
-Focus on building beautiful cabinetry & millwork with excellent quality achieving that "wow" factor with clients, architects, and designers.
-Be a great people manager: understand people, learn their strengths, teach, assign tasks with an eye towards efficiency and personal growth of your team.
