Job Overview

The Admin/QAQC Inspector is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities at Power Up Green Energy’s solar project sites. This is a field-based position that requires regular travel to different project locations.
Although the company’s headquarters are located in Odessa, TX, work will primarily take place at active solar job sites across various regions.

This role supports both administrative operations and quality initiatives, ensuring that all project documentation, inspections and standards. The position typically requires 40 hours or more per week, depending on project demands.


Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative Duties
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, control, and distribute all company quality documentation while maintaining organized, accurate records.

  • Communication: Act as the primary liaison with HR for employee information and handle correspondence with client representatives.

  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and facilitate meetings, track project deliverables and maintain clear communication with site and office teams.

  • Onboarding & Orientation: Support the onboarding and orientation of new field employees.

  • Software Support: Learn and assist with the use of company software platforms to help team members work efficiently.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control Duties
  • QA Manual Oversight: Prepare, update and supervise revisions to the QA manual.

  • Project Monitoring: Oversee all site-based quality activities to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

  • Auditing: Conduct internal and external audits on behalf of management.

  • Vendor & Contractor Verification: Ensure contractor and vendor quality requirements are defined, documented and met.

  • Pre-Bid & Client Meetings: Attend project meetings with bidders and clients to address quality requirements.

  • Personnel Review: Evaluate qualifications and training requirements of QC personnel.

  • Nonconformance Control: Track, report and close out all nonconformance reports in a timely manner.

  • System Improvement: Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system and recommend continuous improvements.

  • Field Inspections: Perform field inspections of piles, racking, modules and electrical components; document findings; and ensure corrective actions are implemented before sign-off.

  • Customer Complaints: Address and resolve client quality concerns promptly.

  • Documentation Closeout: Manage and archive all project documentation at completion.

  • Statistical Reporting: Track and report on project quality metrics.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Documentation Accuracy: 100% accuracy in all controlled documents.

  • Audit Compliance: ≥ 95% compliance in internal/external audits.

  • Nonconformance Resolution: 100% of NCRs closed within the set timeframe.

  • Customer Satisfaction: ≥ 95% resolution of client complaints within one month.

  • Onboarding Efficiency: New hires onboarded within one week of start date.

  • Meeting Coordination: 100% of scheduled meetings held on time.

  • Inspection Pass Rate: ≥ 98% pass rate on all QC inspections.


Additional Information
  • Travel Requirement: This role requires travel from project to project. Per diem is included when travel is required and ranges from $80 to $125 per day.
