- Job title: Team Leader for Specialty Pharmacy program
- Role: Overseeing the partner's program and responsible for its execution. Ensuring the achievement of clinical, operational, and financial goals.
- Location: On site, locations throughout rural Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula
- Key responsibilities: Developing and executing goals, plans, and tactics for the Specialty Pharmacy program. Managing on-site teams and fostering high patient and provider satisfaction. Managing external relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, third-party payors, and organizations associated with specialty pharmacy. Ensuring compliance with contract requirements. Directing project management for all initiatives related to Specialty Pharmacy development. Identifying improvements in pharmacy operations. Forecasting and preparing the Specialty Pharmacy operating and financial plans. Keeping job expertise current and collaborating with corporate resources.
- Education: Pharmacist with PharmD or BS Pharm required. MBA or other business degree preferred.
- Certificates, licenses, registrations: Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the Board of Pharmacy in the client's state of residence. Must complete the 340B Operations Certificate Program within six months of employment.
- Experience: 3+ years with relevant experience in pharmacy and leadership responsibilities.
- Skills: Experience in managing complex projects, leadership within a specialty pharmacy or health system, managing a P&L for a specialty pharmacy or large-scale pharmacy program, clear communication, excellent project management, proactive problem solving, proficiency in MS Office, experience in a clinical setting, experience in a start-up specialty pharmacy or early-stage health care environments, clinical knowledge in specialty drugs and treatments, proficiency with standard software used in a healthcare setting, background in specialty pharmacy accreditation.
- Additional skills: Depending on site-specific requirements, an active certification in good standing as a Certified Specialty Pharmacist (CSP) from the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) may be required.
- Salary: $176,100.00 - $210,700.00
