Role SummaryThe Site Engineer is responsible for delivering precise setting out, technical coordination, and quality assurance across residential infrastructure and housing plots. This role ensures that roads, drainage systems, and substructure works are constructed safely, accurately, and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.This position is well suited to an engineer with residential groundworks or infrastructure experience who is confident supervising subcontractors and maintaining high technical and safety standards on site.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting Out & Engineering ControlSet out and supervise construction of:Estate roads and junctionsFoul and surface water drainage systemsPlot foundations and floor slabsKerbing, external works, and finished levelsEstablish, verify, and maintain site control pointsConduct routine line and level checks to ensure accuracyPrepare and maintain accurate as-built records and documentationSubcontractor CoordinationWork closely with groundworks and infrastructure subcontractorsMonitor workmanship, quality standards, and productivityReview and assess RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)Assist in tracking progress and reporting on site performanceHealth & SafetyAlways promote and uphold safe working practicesEnsure compliance with company health and safety proceduresSupport site audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsCandidate RequirementsHNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)Demonstrated site engineering experience within residential or civil engineering projectsProficiency in using total station and GPS surveying equipmentFull UK driving licenceIf interested please call 0161 212 2308 (Option 2) and ask for Milli or Scott or apply with your CV to receive a call back.
