Site Inspector
Bridgewater Environmental Services, the leader in wastewater treatment upgrades in Suffolk County, is seeking a site inspector to assistant in the design and installation of advanced sanitary systems. Job responsibilities will include:
- Site evaluations, including locating plumbing, utilities, and sanitary structures
- Measuring distances between established setbacks and relevant structures
- Digging and other manual labor to assist in soil tests and sanitary system identification and documentation
- Utility mark outs
- Assisting in the on-site installation of advanced sanitary systems
- Assisting in county inspections of sanitary systems
Job Requirements:
- Must speak fluent English and be able to communicate with customers and government officials. Spanish language a plus.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform manual labor
- Clean drivers license
- Ability to read construction plans and surveys
- Ability to take measurements
- Construction/plumbing/septic industry knowledge a plus
- High School Diploma/GED strongly preferred
- Environmental knowledge a plus

Salary range $45,000 - $55,000 commensurate with experience
