This role is responsible for driving manufacturing productivity by improving process efficiencies, increasing capacity, reducing waste, and improving quality.Key processes in this facility include industrial roofing urethane and asphalt, and adhesive tape. The engineer will join during a stage of rapid growth and work with a diverse team to support automation and process improvement projects critical to business success.Primary ResponsibilitiesApply tools and techniques to achieve breakthroughs in overall equipment efficiencyStrengthen teamwork within operations and across functionsLead continuous process improvement activitiesImprove process control through instrumentation and statistical toolsIdentify and implement automation and packaging improvementsUtilize lean techniques to improve activitiesUtilize financial analysis tools to support plant activities and identify opportunitiesSupport capital projects that range in complexity and scaleDevelop standardized work proceduresAssist with safety programs and improvement throughout the facilityMinimum RequirementsBS Degree in an Engineering discipline10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentCapital project support experience of minimum $100KExperience supporting or executing process development projectsDemonstrated experience creating and modifying P&ID'sBackground in statistical techniques and financial acumenProcess measurement and improvement technique experience and process design experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCADAbility to travel up to 10%Preferred RequirementsBackground in controls and automationProven leadership in process improvements Lean, Six Sigma, SWOTAbility to develop Standard Operating ProceduresSkilled in modifying/updating Historian & Visualization software tagsProficient in troubleshooting online with Process Equipment, PLCs, VFDs, Servos, HMIs, & Network SwitchesFamiliarity with ISO certification processesKnowledge of Management of Change and PSM programsDemonstrated success implementing 5STrack record of leading capital projects exceeding $100KAbility to read & interpret electrical & network diagramsSAP proficiencyPay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $95,000 - $110,000.In addition to your salary, H.B. Fuller offers employees a competitive total rewards package including comprehensive benefits, incentive and recognitions programs, health & wellness benefits, 401K contributions, paid time off and paid holidays.
