Site Reliability Engineer, Senior Opportunity: Engineering to make a system more resilient and efficient frees up time and money to build more capabilities. Whether you come from a background in network engineering, systems administration, or software development, if you have a passion for making systems better, we need you! As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on our team, you’ll help the Intelligence Community develop more robust systems by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self‑repair. Responsibilities Build and maintain resilient infrastructure for the Intelligence Community. Implement redundancy and fault tolerance. Deploy and manage monitoring tools to ensure high availability. Automate routine tasks and self‑repair processes. Collaborate with security and software teams to enhance security posture. Qualifications 5+ years of Linux system engineering experience. 2+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, Rust, or Go. Experience with HP, Jenkins, Packer, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Nessus, Jira, or Confluence. Knowledge of patching and hardening systems. TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. HS diploma or GED. Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months of start date. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cybersecurity concepts (threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, authentication). RHEL administration experience. Knowledge of NIST 800‑53 and NIST‑190. Bachelor’s degree.
