Automation Technician Responsibilities: - Perform preventive maintenance on automated manufacturing equipment - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems - Program and maintain PLC systems and HMI interfaces - Troubleshoot and repair robotic systems and end-of-arm tooling - Maintain and calibrate sensors, motors, and control systems - Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance - Assist in training personnel to operate, maintain, and the setup of production machinery and equipment - Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate repair records (CMMS) - Respond to emergency breakdown situations Requirements for Automation Technician: - Associate’s degree or a journeyman status in Electronic Technology - Automation, Electromechanical Maintenance Technology, Industrial Machine Repair, or related technical field. - 3+ years of experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment - Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial controls - Experience with robotic systems and programming - Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
