CNC Machinist Responsibilities: - Start the machine and perform start up inspection - Ensure that proper gauging is being used for the job - Read and understand blueprints - Produce high precision components according to the blueprint and rates - Perform all necessary part inspection using gauging instruments specified in the inspection sheet - Perform necessary statistical process control - Clean workstation, check machine fluid levels and refill as needed - Understand company software and other related operating systems - Follow established safety practices and requirements pertaining to the type of work involved Requirements For CNC Machinist: - Experienced CNC Operator with 5 years of hands-on machining in a production environment - Proficient in reading blueprints, setting up and operating CNC mills/lathes, and performing routine maintenance - Strong understanding of G-code, tooling, and quality control procedures - Skilled in maintaining tight tolerances, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production efficiency - Holds a high school diploma and has completed on-the-job training in CNC operations and safety protocols QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
