We specialize in residential construction projects, and we’re seeking a skilled carpenter to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities Read and interpret drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and requirements Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools Assemble and install structures and fixtures such as frameworks, floors, and cabinets Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures Collaborate with other construction professionals, including project managers and subcontractors, to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations Manage and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably with 3+ years in a similar role Proficiency in using various hand and power tools Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials Ability to read and interpret construction documents Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team Good physical condition and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be authorized to work in the U.S Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications or vocational training in carpentry Experience with residential construction projects Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations Benefits Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Health, dental 401k Retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
